Use and maintenance

Use

Always use the duvet inside a suitable cover to protect it from wear and make it easier to keep clean.
Avoid placing it on damp surfaces or directly exposed to heat sources.
Check regularly that there are no elements that could damage the fabric, such as toys with sharp edges or metal fasteners.

Care

Machine wash on a delicate cycle, maximum 30 °C.
Use a mild detergent and avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or abrasive products.
Natural drying in a horizontal position is recommended. If you use a tumble dryer, use a low temperature.
Do not iron.
Make sure the duvet is completely dry before storing it or using it again.
Keep the product in a dry, well-ventilated place when not in use, preferably inside its original storage cover or bag.

Exchanges and returns

Ecus Kids products can be exchanged or returned within a period of 30 calendar days from delivery. If you need to do so, open an incident in your customer area and explain the reason to us, and in case of exchange, the new desired item.

Soft Tencel fabric

The Soft mattress protector is made of Tencel fabric, a very soft natural fiber that regulates body temperature, perfect for the most sensitive skin. It is very breathable and has an extraordinary moisture absorption relative to skin temperature. It helps maintain a constant temperature and quickly absorbs and releases moisture, preventing condensation.

It does not irritate the skin nor does it allow the growth of bacteria. It is a very lightweight, flexible fabric that does not wrinkle or shrink. It also has great elasticity and durability, it is designed to withstand prolonged use. It allows for breathability and cares for the child's skin while resting.

waterproof top layer

The top layer of the Soft mattress protector has a thin layer of elastic, non-slip, and breathable polyurethane. This layer allows for the waterproofing of the mattress, preventing leaks from diapers or sweat and keeping the mattress always clean and dry.

It protects the mattress from stains, dust, and mites to extend its lifespan and keep the child's sleeping surface always dry and hygienic. Its use is comfortable and silent.

Does using a protector reduce the breathability properties of the mattress?

Ecus Kids mattresses are designed for optimal breathability. Using a mattress protector is not necessary, but it is normal for many moms and dads to feel more at ease if you use one.

Naturally, any protector or sheet placed between the mattress and the baby will reduce the breathability properties of the mattress. That is why we recommend using a mattress protector that is as breathable as possible, allowing air to circulate well between its fibers in order to minimize the reduction of breathability properties of the mattress.

At Ecus Kids, we have the waterproof Soft fitted sheet. This super soft sheet to the touch of your baby's skin allows for air circulation and the expulsion of CO2, thus avoiding any risk. You will achieve better maintenance of the mattress, as it will remain dry and ready for the baby to sleep without moisture and without unwanted stains.

Can the accessories be returned or exchanged?

Yes. At Ecus Kids you can make exchanges or returns within 30 calendar days after receiving your item.

Returns of items are free if there is a manufacturing defect. Returns for any other reason have a collection fee of 6 €, which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

If what you want is an exchange of item for one of equal or higher value, the exchange will have no cost. If the new item is of lower value, the shipping cost of the new item is 6 €, which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

For the Balearic Islands, the cost of exchange or return of items is 9 €.
For the Canary Islands, the cost of exchange or return of items is 15 €.

If the item shows signs of incorrect or improper use, its exchange or return will not be accepted.

When will I receive my order?

Our approximate shipping time is 2 to 3 business days, although if there is no stock break and no defects are detected, we usually ship orders within the next 24 business hours after confirmation.

The approximate shipping time (departure from our facilities) for the children's mattresses and compatible sizes of crib and carrycot mattress, is 5 to 7 business days after confirmation, although as in the previous case, if it is in stock, it would be shipped the next business day.

Subsequently, the destination agency may take between 1 to 3 business days more to deliver it. Therefore, it is normal that, at most, you receive your order within 6 business days after confirmation.

Shipments to the Balearic Islands can have a longer delivery time (between 24 and 72 business hours more than shipments to the mainland). Shipments to the Canary Islands can have a delivery time of 3-5 business days, and in case of not having stock in the Las Palmas warehouse, it could take up to two business weeks.
