Use and maintenance

CHILDREN'S MATTRESS CARE ULTIMATE JUNIOR:

Mattress recommended from 12 kg of weight or approximately 2 years of age. This mattress supports the weight of an adult and a child at the same time for occasional use.

To facilitate its maintenance and hygiene, it is removable and its woven cover is washable. It is recommended to wash by hand with cold water, or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC without spinning. It is advisable to use a neutral detergent and no fabric softener.

Let it air dry. Do not use a dryer or nearby heat sources.

Washing the foams is not recommended.

MATTRESS PROTECTOR SOFT:

This mattress protector is suitable for cradle mattresses, crib mattresses, and children's mattresses.

To facilitate its maintenance and hygiene, it is recommended to wash with cold water or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC, with a delicate cycle, without spinning. Use neutral detergent and no fabric softener.

Let it air dry, although there is no problem drying in a dryer at low temperature. For persistent stains, oxygen-based stain removers can be used, bleach is not recommended.

Exchanges and returns

CHILDREN'S MATTRESS CARE ULTIMATE JUNIOR:

Ecus Kids mattresses can be exchanged or returned within a30 calendar days from delivery. If you need to do so, open an incident in your customer area, explain the reason, and in case of exchange, the desired new item.

Custom-made mattresses cannot be exchanged or returned.

SOFT MATTRESS PROTECTOR:

Ecus Kids accessories can be exchanged or returned within a 30 calendar days from delivery. If you need to do so, open an incident in your customer area and explain the reason, and in case of exchange, the desired new item.

Core of bagged springs

The core of the Care Ultimate Junior children's mattress is made of Multispring® pocket springs. This type of springs, manufactured by us, are individually encapsulated, each within its own fabric bag.

Pocket springs have many benefits for children's rest. They provide the right firmness and an excellent level of breathability of the mattress, which translates into a cooler and safer rest. Air circulates through the springs, so the mattress does not retain heat or moisture, preventing sweat and the accumulation of mold and dust mites.

Pocket springs also allow for a greater independence of beds. If an adult needs to sleep occasionally on the same mattress as the child, they can do so without worrying about feeling each other's movements and without the mattress losing its properties. The core of pocket springs has a durability that is practically infinite, allowing this mattress to have a long lifespan throughout all stages of the child's growth.

Contoured foam topper

On the core of pocket springs, on the side that is in contact with the child, the Care Ultimate Junior mattress has a layer of Airfeel foam shaped in the form of small pyramids.

This design of the foam helps to significantly reduce pressure on the child's body by creating numerous support points, providing a greater adaptability and comfort during rest. It helps keep their spine aligned respecting the natural curvature, which is beneficial for their proper musculoskeletal development.

The Airfeel foam is reticular, has high porosity, and is water-repellent, so it neither absorbs nor retains moisture. It promotes oxygen circulation in all directions making this mattress a highly breathable. It does not allow the child's body heat to accumulate on the surface so they have a much cooler, comfortable, and safe rest.

Soft Tencel fabric

The Soft mattress protector is made of Tencel fabric, a very soft natural fiber that regulates body temperature, perfect for the most sensitive skin. It is very breathable and has an extraordinary moisture absorption relative to skin temperature. It helps maintain a constant temperature and quickly absorbs and releases moisture, preventing condensation.

It does not irritate the skin nor does it allow the growth of bacteria. It is a very lightweight, flexible fabric that does not wrinkle or shrink. It also has great elasticity and durability, it is designed to withstand prolonged use. It allows for breathability and cares for the child's skin while resting.

What mattress firmness is better for children?

The child mattress must have an adequate firmness, it should not be too hard or too soft because this can cause the child back pain. A pocket spring mattress reinforced with a layer of soft foam will be the best option.

When will I receive my order?

Our approximate shipping time is 2 to 3 business days, although if there is no stock break and no defects are detected, we usually ship orders within the next 24 business hours after confirmation.

The approximate shipping time (departure from our facilities) for the children's mattresses and compatible sizes of crib and carrycot mattress, is 5 to 7 business days after confirmation, although as in the previous case, if it is in stock, it would be shipped the next business day.

Subsequently, the destination agency may take between 1 to 3 business days more to deliver it. Therefore, it is normal that, at most, you receive your order within 6 business days after confirmation.

Shipments to the Balearic Islands can have a longer delivery time (between 24 and 72 business hours more than shipments to the mainland). Shipments to the Canary Islands can have a delivery time of 3-5 business days, and in case of not having stock in the Las Palmas warehouse, it could take up to two business weeks.

Until what age can the children's mattress be used?

Children's mattresses have the ideal firmness for the growth stage that includes from approximately 2 years old until the transition to an adult mattress. There is no age limit for their use. We will detect when a change is necessary based on the child's development and comfort.

When the mattress stops being comfortable and/or the weight of the child or teenager causes it to sink significantly, it will be time to change the mattress. However, all mattresses have a durability of about 10 years from the start of their use, according to the hygiene standards recommended by ASOCAMA. We will ensure a good rest by changing the mattress when appropriate.

What is the difference between the Care mattress and the Care Ultimate mattress?

The difference between the Care mattress and the Care Ultimate mattress lies in the materials and fabrics used. The Care Ultimate mattress is even more breathable, cooler and drier than the Care mattress. Its fabric with Xtra Cool technology made of cold thread, offers a feeling of coolness that does not generate heat, dissipates moisture, and helps regulate temperature. The foam core is also more breathable, as it is very porous and open, and does not retain moisture, keeping the baby dry.

As for functionality, it is the same: both are anti-flat head syndrome mattresses because they reduce pressure on the baby's head by up to 70%, preventing positional plagiocephaly and improving it if the baby already suffers from it. Both are very safe mattresses and also avoid any risk of suffocation. Both have the health certificate from the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products.
