Use and maintenance

CARE MINI CRIB MATTRESS:

Mattress recommended from birth up to approximately 8 kg in weight.

To facilitate its maintenance and hygiene, it is removable and its cover is washable. Hand wash with cold water is recommended. It can also be washed in the washing machine on a delicate cycle, at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC and without spinning. Use neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener.

Let it air dry. Do not use a dryer or nearby heat sources.

Washing the foam core is not recommended.

SOFT MATTRESS PROTECTOR:

This mattress protector is suitable for crib mattresses, cradle mattresses, and children's mattresses.

To facilitate its maintenance and hygiene, it is recommended to wash with cold water or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC, on a delicate cycle, without spinning. Use neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener.

Let it air dry, although there is no problem drying in a dryer on low temperature. For persistent stains, oxygen-based stain removers can be used, bleach is not recommended.

Exchanges and returns

Ecus Kids mattresses can be exchanged or returned within a30 calendar days from delivery. If you need to do so, open an incident in your customer area, explain the reason, and in case of exchange, the desired new item.

Custom-made mattresses cannot be exchanged or returned.

The core of the Care Mini crib mattress is made with Oxígena HR foam. Its bubble format design provides the appropriate firmness for the weight of the newborn, preventing the baby from sinking and thereby any risk of suffocation or SIDS.

Similarly, the small “hills” allow the baby to never rest their head in the same way, that is, to change the support points continuously, reducing pressure and preventing plagiocephaly, or helping to correct it.

In addition, the air channels created by this foam design promote the circulation of oxygen and the evacuation of CO2, so that the baby sleeps peacefully and safely, even if they were to lie face down during the night.

hypoallergenic cover

The Care Mini crib mattress has a cover made of 3D Airsoft fabric that is very breathable thanks to the interweaving of its fibers in three layers, which helps to avoid the risk of suffocation.

It is also a soft-touch and hypoallergenic fabric that features antimicrobial treatment, which is very important to protect the newborn from bacteria, dust mites, and fungi, thus preventing possible allergies and irritations on their skin.

Until what age can the crib mattress be used?

The mini cot or Moses basket is an ideal option for a newborn’s sleep. Its small size helps the baby feel safer, since they’ve spent many months in the womb, in quite a confined space. Using a mini cot helps make the baby’s adjustment to their new reality easier.

The maximum recommended use of a mini cot or Moses basket is usually up to 6 months of age, due to size, although some mums stretch it a little longer. In any case, our mattresses for mini cots and carrycots are designed to support the baby’s weight without limitations until you decide to move them to a cot or a bed.

Can a crib mattress be washed?

It is advisable to choose a crib mattress that is easy to clean and maintain hygienic to prevent the accumulation of germs and bacteria. Ideally, it should be removable and machine washable, at least its top fabric.

How many months can the mattress of the crib be used?

Although it will depend on the growth rate of each baby, it is normal for a baby to sleep in the crib from birth until approximately the first 6-9 months of life (which corresponds to a weight of around 8 kg).
