Use and maintenance

CRIB MATTRESS CARE:

Mattress recommended from birth up to approximately 20 kg in weight.

To facilitate its maintenance and hygiene,it is removable and both its woven cover and the foam core of its topper (top part) are washable.Hand wash with cold water is recommended. It can also be washed in the washing machine on a delicate cycle, at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC and without spinning. Use neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener.

Let it air dry. Lay the foam flat to prevent deformation or tearing. Do not use a dryer or nearby heat sources.

Washing the foam core of the base (bottom part) is not recommended.

SOFT MATTRESS PROTECTOR:

This mattress protector is suitable for mini crib mattresses, crib mattresses, and children's mattresses.

To facilitate its maintenance and hygiene, it is recommended to wash with cold water or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC, on a delicate cycle, without spinning. Use neutral detergent and no fabric softener.

Let it air dry, although there is no problem drying in a dryer on low temperature. For stubborn stains, oxygen-based stain removers can be used, bleach is not recommended.

Exchanges and returns

CRIB MATTRESS CARE:

Ecus Kids mattresses can be exchanged or returned within a period of 30 calendar days from delivery. If you need to do so, open an incident in your customer area, explain the reason, and in case of exchange, the new desired item.

Custom-made mattresses cannot be exchanged or returned.

SOFT MATTRESS PROTECTOR:

Ecus Kids accessories can be exchanged or returned within a period of 30 calendar days from delivery. If you need to do so, open an incident in your customer area and explain the reason, and in case of exchange, the new desired item.

PÍO LAMP:

The core of the Care crib mattress is divided into two parts, both made of Oxígena HR foam.

On its top side, the topper features a bubble format design that provides the correct firmness and prevents the baby from sinking. Additionally, it generates numerous support points that help to reduce the pressure exerted on the head and body of the baby by up to 70%.

Its shape creates air channels inside that promote oxygen circulation and the evacuation of CO2, making this anti-flat head crib mattress a completely safe model to prevent SIDS, even if the baby sleeps face down.

On its bottom side, the base of the core is designed to be the ideal support, as it provides the adequate firmness and breathability for the healthy rest of the baby.

Two in one: travel mattress

The Care mattress has a perimeter zipper that divides the mattress into two parts: the base (blue in color) and the topper (white in color). This design facilitates its cleaning and maintenance, while also providing a double use for the mattress.

The topper can be used separately as a travel mattress, to place on top of the parents' bed and practice co-sleeping safely, or even as a play blanket for the baby.

Soft Tencel fabric

The Soft mattress protector is made of Tencel fabric, a very soft natural fiber that regulates body temperature, perfect for the most sensitive skin. It is very breathable and has an extraordinary moisture absorption relative to skin temperature. It helps maintain a constant temperature and quickly absorbs and releases moisture, preventing condensation.

Is a firm mattress the same as a hard mattress?

Firmness and hardness in a mattress are not exactly the same. A firm mattress provides an optimal balance between comfort and good support for the body without sinking.

On the other hand, a hard mattress feels rigid, with less ability to adapt to the contours of the body, which may not be comfortable and can cause discomfort.

In the case of children's mattresses, the ideal is to choose an appropriate firmness that provides correct support for the development of the spine, but without compromising comfort. All our mattresses meet this requirement.

What does it mean for it to be a healthcare product?

A healthcare product is one that is used in the field of health without being a medication because it claims properties that prevent health problems or serve to treat a pathology or ailment.

Healthcare products are regulated by Royal Decree 1591/2009 under the supervision of the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), an agency dependent on the Ministry of Health of the Government of Spain.

To obtain this certificate, it is necessary to present studies and reports that certify compliance with the health benefits of the product and its manufacturing process. When the manufacturing company obtains the license, the manufactured product is a healthcare product and bears the CE marking.

Can I wash the foam core in the washing machine?

The foam core of the mini crib and carrycot mattresses, as well as the foam of the topper (top part) of the Care and Care Ultimate crib mattresses, can be hand washed with cold water.

The washing machine on a short program can also be used for delicate items with cold water (no more than 30 ºC), neutral detergent, and no fabric softeners. Do not spin to avoid damaging the foam.

For drying, place the foam horizontally and never hold it with clips, as it could tear. Do not use a dryer or any other heat source (hair dryer, radiators, etc.). Air dry and do not expose to sunlight.

It can take up to 48 hours for the foam to dry completely. Before placing it back inside the cover, make sure it is completely dry.

It is not recommended to wash the foam bases of the crib and maxi crib mattresses.

Can the mattress be custom made?

If you need a mattress size different from those available on the website, we offer you the possibility of making a custom mattress. This option is only possible with the Care model, in its categories of crib, carrycot, and cot.

We will be happy to respond to your email informing you of the price and the account number where you should make the payment via bank transfer, as well as resolving any questions you may have.

As it is a special size order, there will be no trial nights for changes or returns and it will come with a 3-year warranty for manufacturing defects. The delivery time is approximately 30 calendar days.
