Soft and with mallow extract
The Malva baby pillow is that first pillow that will help your baby fall asleep. It is made with a very soft HR foam core and very little thickness, which does not exert pressure and helps maintain the correct position of the neck muscles.
The foam of the Malva pillow is special because it contains natural mallow oils with relaxing and calming properties that induce sleep naturally. Its high porosity allows for better air circulation around the baby's head, preventing the accumulation of CO2 emitted while breathing and preventing any risk of suffocation.
In conclusion, Malva is a very adaptable, breathable, and comfortable pillow for babies from approximately 1 year of age. Perfect for the baby to start getting used to using a pillow without it being uncomfortable.

Cotton cover
The Malva baby pillowcase is made of 100% cotton, a breathable and absorbent fabric, which allows air to flow so that the baby always feels cool. Additionally, cotton is especially soft, hypoallergenic and very gentle on the delicate skin of babies.
The baby's safety and hygiene are also guaranteed because it is a removable pillow with a flap closure and without zippers to avoid friction that could disturb the baby's rest.

Free of harmful substances
This supplement is manufactured under the compliance of the certificate OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which guarantees that no harmful chemical substances have been used in its production.
The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate is the most widely used ecological label in the world, obtained after verifying that the labeled textile products have been tested against more than 300 harmful substances.

Frequently asked questions
Here you can find the most frequently asked questions that other customers have asked us
about the Malva baby pillow and resolve all your doubts.
At what age is it recommended to use a pillow?
The Spanish Association of Pediatrics (AEP) advises not to use pillows for newborns and infants. Neither blankets, stuffed animals, nor any other object that could pose even a minimal risk of suffocation to the baby. If the baby moves at night and turns over –and then cannot return to lying on their back–, their nose could get trapped against the pillow and therefore have more difficulty breathing.
During the first year of life, the use of a pillow can interfere with the natural alignment of the spine of babies, who are still developing their bone and muscle structure. The proportions of babies are not like those of adults: their neck is small and their head is much larger relative to the size of their body. Sleeping with a pillow, in addition to the discomfort it may cause, can force the natural curvature of their neck.
The general recommendation is that babies start using a pillow from the age of 2.
When the time comes to introduce a pillow for your little one, it is important to choose a pillow suitable for their age and size. Opt for a low and soft pillow, specifically designed for toddlers, that provides adequate support for their head and neck.

Can the anti-reflux wedge be replaced by a pillow?
The wedge and the pillow have different functions. The wedge is specifically designed to gently elevate the baby's torso and help prevent gastroesophageal reflux and respiratory conditions.
It is not advisable to use pillows, towels, blankets, or any similar objects to prop up the baby, because all these items can pose a risk of suffocation or obstruction of the airways in babies during the first year of life.
Therefore, pillows at these ages are recommended for use on other surfaces to prevent flattening of the head, such as strollers, hammocks, or car seats, where the baby is in a fixed position and is not at risk of suffocation. Your baby can start using a pillow in the crib under the recommendation of a doctor or specialist. It is advisable that children do not use a pillow until they are 2 years old.
It is essential to follow safety guidelines to provide the safest possible environment for the baby's rest.
